A focus on sustainability

A.T. Clayton took an early step forward, earning Chain of Custody certifications from the leading forest sustainability nonprofit organizations in 2007. These organizations are working to create global standards and best practices in the area of forest sustainability:

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
Sustainable Forestry Initiative Program (SFI)
Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC)
 
Forest Certification Programs require third party confirmation that all requirements have been met before certification is earned and annual third party audits to verify continuing adherence to the Chain of Custody standards. We conduct internal audits to monitor our Chain of Custody orders and keeps abreast of the evolving FSC, SFI and PEFC standards. Our employees are diligently attentive to every detail of our comprehensive and careful end-to-end procedures.
